If they have questions of your abilities get out and show by your actions in your life, work, as well your  free time this speaks volumes to the world and the people around you.There is never any reason to justify your actions and work ethics. Go that extra mile in all you are doing. The ones talking behind your back will never see or understand yet others will see what you are made of and give praise and positive feed back not talk behind the back.
